I was born April 28, 1971. I grew up in Kinston, NC with my mother Frances, my older Tony “Gino” and older sister Lolita “Cush”. Growing up in Kinston during the 70’s and 80’s was great but just not the “cool” thing to be known as a writer. In school I loved writing term papers and reports because it allowed me to put things on paper in my own words. Back then we didn’t have the internet so I had to either use the set of encyclopedias that we had at home or go to the library and do research for information. I did both. I would take the information that I gathered and put it in my own words. Of course that’s what was expected but most of my classmates thought it was too difficult and time consuming. Some of them would copy information from books nearly word for word with just enough alterations to avoid plagiarism. I realized that it wasn’t difficult for me at all but in fact fun. I was so good at it that I had a teacher to question me if I had copied my work from an encyclopedia. That’s when I realized that I had a gift for putting words together.

            Years went by and I found myself still too cool to let anyone know that I loved to write. Even I thought that it was lame. Every now and then even long after being out of school I would find joy in helping others any chance I got. It wasn’t until I was grown and working in a call center that I decided to step out of my comfort zone. In the break room one day I stumbled across a group of female coworkers discussing a book with erotic content. I had never heard of the author at the time but later discovered that this author was famous for her detailed erotic stories.
